Señoritas, if you are a plus size with large chest, you can still wear a maxi dress without looking like you are wearing a muumuu or giving the impression of being pregnant. A maxi dress is meant to fit loosely after all, hiding unwanted bulges.

Here are few tips to consider when looking for the maxi dress that matches your body type:
  • Slender and tall señoritas usually wear flowing maxi dress with a lot of fabric… Don’t copy them! It’s okay for your maxi dress to be flowing but avoid too much fabric.
  • Make sure that the fabric does not hug the bulges on the hips or tummy.
  • Wear a supportive pair of brassiere underneath the maxi dress and make sure that the chest part of the maxi dress fits well on you.
  • Bold patterns are great to conceal unwanted curves.
  • If you are not tall, add height and elongate your voluptuous figure by using a pair of wedges or chunky heeled shoes.

As one of my friends often tells me, I gotta love my own body. So embrace your curves, señoritas! Be confident and let me know your maxi dressing experience!
